Villa Miralago was built in 1903 as a summer residence for a wealthy family in the grand style typical of the latter years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It became part of one of the most fashionable hotels in Velden in the 1920′s. It′s now run jointly with villa Augsdorf as the Excelsior apartments.
